The Glass Beads
The Glass Beads, a folk-rock-alternative band hailing from Sonoma County, California, was a unique musical force driven by the exceptional talents of its members. Fronted by singer-songwriter Kevin Kennedy, whose insightful and evocative lyrics formed the heart of their music, the band’s sound was further enriched by the soaring guitar solos of Deependra, formerly of the band Full Circle in Nepal.
The rhythm section was anchored by bassist Ryan Brady, an avid reader and cook who brought a grounded presence to the group, and the classically trained pianist Ellen, whose elegant playing added a touch of sophistication. The driving force behind The Glass Beads energetic sound was drummer Rick Cutler, whose impeccable timing and powerful playing drove the band’s energy.
