As the sky was turning grey I could see that my shadow was growing. I looked into the clouds to ask some questions, and as I did, I noticed I was holding a pen; so I began to write. As I wrote, I began to dream, and as I dreamt, I could feel my thoughts breaking away. But thanks to some good advice, I didn’t break. Instead, I wrote some songs, formed a band and we called ourselves The Glass Beads. We played around Sonoma County for a bit and decided to make an album. But making an album isn’t easy. People kept asking, “Might it happen this time?” I then looked out into the world and saw it all going down, monocultures and the like. There I met Athena who held my hand, whispered in my ear and smiled. But things change, I had to let the past remain. So I dug into the soil, breathed in some hot heavy air and went out into the fields to cleanse myself in the rain. And it fell down.
